In ihrer Heimat sind die Courteeners längst an der Spitze. Jedes der drei
Vorgängeralben "St. Jude", "Falcon" und "ANNA" erreichte die Top-Ten der
britischen Charts.
Aus Manchester stammend, gehören zu ihren Vorbildern Bands wie The Stone Roses, Kasabian, Arctic Monkeys und The Smiths.
Mit letzteren verband sie lange Zeit der Produzent Stephen Street, jüngst hat Morrissey sie etwas unter seine Fittiche genommen und sie auf seine US-Tourneen ins Vorprogramm eingeladen.
"Concrete Love" wurde mit dem Produzenten Joe Cross (Hurts) realisiert und enthält die beiden Singles "Summer" und "How Good It Was".
