Label-Compilation des 70s Rock-Labels, das Meat Loafs „Bat Out Of Hell” und andere Klassiker veröffentlichte.
Der verstorbene Steve Popovich, einer der großen Plattenmänner der glorreichen Tage des Musikgeschäfts, war groß im Geschäft bei Epic, bevor er 1976 sein eigenes Indie-Label Cleveland International Records gründete und Meat Loafs Hit-Album „Bat Out of Hell“ veröffentlichte.
Popovichs Sohn Steve Jr., selbst ein erfahrener Manager der Radio- und Musikindustrie, der während seiner zweiten Inkarnation (1995 - 2003) noch in der High School bei dem Label zu arbeiten begann, belebt es jetzt zum dritten Mal mit dieser CD/LP-Neuveröffentlichung der 1995 erschienenen Label-Roster-Compilation „Cleveland Rocks“.
Das Set ist zum ersten Mal auf Vinyl erhältlich und enthält neue Tracks, die zum Repertoire des Originals passen, darunter Bat Out of Hell's Klassiker „Paradise“ von Dashboard Light, Ronnie Spector und die E Street Band mit „Say Goodbye to Hollywood“, Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes mit „I Don’t Wann Go Home“ und der Ian Hunter Titeltrack „Cleveland Rocks“.
