»Clap Your Hands Say Yeah« ist das gleichnamige Debüt-Studioalbum von Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, dem musikalischen Projekt des amerikanischen Sängers, Songwriters und Multiinstrumentalisten Alec Ounsworth, der seit Anfang der 2000er Jahre in Philadelphia und Umgebung aktiv ist.
Das von Adam Lasus produzierte und abgemischte Album und die Band erlangten Berühmtheit, nachdem sie in verschiedenen MP3-Blogs auf sich aufmerksam gemacht und von der einflussreichen Musik-Website Pitchfork sehr positiv ("9.0/10") bewertet wurden. Das Albumcover entstand nach einer Zeichnung der Künstlerin Dasha Shishkin und wurde von Gruppenmitglied Robbie Guertin entworfen, koloriert und beschriftet.
