Die amerikanische Funk- und R&B-Band Chocolate Milk wurde in den frühen 1970er Jahren gegründet und veröffentlichte 1976 ihr selbstbetiteltes Album. Dieses Album festigte ihre Präsenz in der Funk- und Soulmusikszene und zeigte ihre Fähigkeit, groovige Rhythmen, eingängige Melodien und sozialkritische Texte zu verbinden. Es enthält die Single "How About Love" (Platz 79 der US R&B-Charts) und beliebte Titel wie "You've Got Your Spell On Me" und "Let The Music Take Your Mind".
Die Band war bekannt für ihre energiegeladenen Live-Auftritte und ihre Verschmelzung von Funk-, Soul- und R&B-Elementen.
