Boz Scaggs ist nun wirklich kein Unbekannter im Musikzirkus, in den späten 60er Jahren des letzten Jahrhunderts war er mit der Steve Miller Band unterwegs bis er sich auf Solopfade begab und Klassiker wir »Degrees« (1976), »Middle Man« (1980), »Some Change« (1994) und »Dig« (2001) aufnahm.
»A Fool To Care« ist nun sein neuester Streich, aufgenommen in den Blackbird Studios in Nashville, USA auf dem er weibliche Unterstützung von niemand geringerem als Bonnie Raitt und Lucinda Williams erhalten hat.
