Blood, Sweat & Tears ist eine zeitgenössische amerikanische Jazz-Rock-Band, die für ihre Kombination aus Bläsern und Rockband-Instrumenten bekannt ist. Die Band hat Songs von Künstlern wie Laura Nyro, James Taylor, The Band, The Rolling Stones sowie Billie Holiday und Erik Satie aufgenommen. Sie haben auch Musik von Thelonious Monk und Sergei Prokofiev in ihre Arrangements aufgenommen.
Die Band wurde ursprünglich 1967 in New York City von Al Kooper, Jim Fielder, Randy Brecker und anderen gegründet. Im Laufe der Jahre gab es zahlreiche personelle Veränderungen, und die Band hat sich eine Vielzahl von Musikstilen zu eigen gemacht und einen hybriden Sound entwickelt, der als „Jazz-Rock“ bekannt wurde.
