John Barrett kehrt mit seinem zweiten Album für das Innovative Leisure Label aus Los Angeles als Bass Drum Of Death zurück. Er entwickelt sein Garage-Rock Konzept mit Hilfe der besten Elemente des amerikanischen Rock Undergrounds erneut weiter, hat dieses Mal jedoch im Gegensatz zu den beiden Vorgängeralben »Bass Drum Of Death« (Innovative Leisure, 2013) und »GB City« (Inflated Records, 2011) das Album in Zusammenarbeit mit Drummer Len Clark und Unknown Mortal Orchestra-Bassist Jacob Portrait als Produzenten aufgenommen.
Über einen Zeitraum von zwei Wochen verbrachten sie Zeit im Prairie Sun Studio in Sonoma County, Kalifornien und kreierten das erste Studioalbum von Bass Drum Of Death.
