MFSL für 75 Euro - klanglich absolut enttäuschend

Die Musik war mir bekannt. Eine „Original Master Recording“ von MFSL für 75 Euro kaufe ich wegen des erwarteten Klangerlebnisses. Und dies bleibt leider aus. Wenig Dynamik, kaum Bühne - absolut enttäuschend und leider keine Empfehlung!

Gute Musik, schlechte Pressung

Ich muss leider sagen, dass dies eine sehr schlechte Pressung ist. Es gibt Verzerrungen, die in den Tracks aufgenommen wurden, und zwar auf BEIDEN Platten. Das war ein grobes Versagen der Techniker, die die Musik auf das Vinyl übertragen haben, um darauf zu achten, was sie tun. Die Platte ist unhörbar. Schade.

I'm sad to say that this is a very bad pressing. There is distortion recorded into the tracks, and it was on BOTH records. This was a gross failure of the technicians who transferred the music onto vinyl to pay attention to what they were doing. The record is sadly unlistenable.

You are so relevant!

Bei Erscheinen enttäuschte mich die CD ziemlich, wollte ich doch eigentlich Jagged Little Pill 2 hören, also einen Pop-Rock-Mix, in dem viel Wut steckt, aber auch viel Melodie und Eingängigkeit und Charme. SFIJ überforderte mich. Klar, ein paar Songs sind leicht zugänglich, Pure, Joining You, Baba, Thank you. Aber das Album ist doch eher ruhig, ernst und tief. Muss man Bock drauf haben, muss man sich drauf einlassen. Ich habe es jahrelang eigentlich kaum gehört, kürzlich habe ich es aber wiederentdeckt. Und ich finde es hat die Jahre besser überstanden als JLP. Lieder wie Are you still mad, Sympathetic Character oder Can't not möchte ich nicht mehr missen. Mein Favorit ist sicher That I would be good, ein bewegendes Lied mit einem ebensolchen Flötensolo von Alanis Morissette am Ende. Nicht zu glauben, dass A.M. danach nur noch Mittelmaß (bestenfalls) produziert hat. Wo ist die Kreativität so plötzlich hin?
