ADNA findet ihre innere Dunkelheit und geht mit ihrem dritten Album zurück zu ihren Wurzeln. Ihre Musik, die dem Dark Folk und Dreamy Pop zuzuordnen ist, hat fast 30 Millionen Spotify-Streams innerhalb der letzten zwei Jahre erreicht. Die Arbeit der melancholischen Lo-Fi Singer-Songwriterin wurde mit Bon Iver und Daughter verglichen.

Nach der Veröffentlichung ihres letzten Albums »Run, Lucifer« tourte ADNA durch Europa und hat dabei viele Inspirationen wahrgenommen und Zeit gehabt, ihre Live-Auftritte zu perfektionieren. Sie ist zusammen mit Blaudzun und Do Tan aufgetreten und war als Headliner in ihren eigenen Club-Shows aktiv. Jetzt lebt sie in Berlin und hat einen langen Zeitraum des Jahres 2016 genutzt, um an ihrem dritten Album »Closure« zu schreiben und es aufzunehmen. Auf diesem neuen Album hören wir ADNA tiefer mit ihrer eigenen Vergangenheit beschäftigt und in ihrer eigenen Dunkelheit gefangen, als je zuvor.

»The word ›closure‹ came to me as I was improvising with the last song trough the making of the record, the title track, and I remember feeling great relief and hopefulness - it felt like a closure. Something that started with sorrow and unwar ranted melancholy finally gave me comfort. We all have our different ways of dealing with our dark place, and I just had the urge to make this record in order to see light and beauty in mine, honor my Bosnian roots and to hopefully and finally find a home within all of this.« (ADNA)
