Mit “New World” liegt das Re-Union Album der Band vor, welches das exzellente Song-Writing und die Dynamik der Band dokumentiert. Das Album mit seinen 13 Songs wurde 1991 aufgenommen und bedeutete der Neu-Anfang ihrer musikalischen Aktivitäten.

Sänger Colin Blunstone, Bassist und Komponist Chris White und original Drummer Hugh Grundy bildeten das Hauptgerüst der Band, unterstütz von “Special Guests” wie Keyboard-Player Rod Argent und Gitarrist Paul Atkinson, und Multi-Instrumentalist Sebastian Santa-Maria entstand dieses Album.

Der Großteil der Songs waren komplett neu und eine frische Version ihres Klassikers „Time Of The Season“ und einer Coverversion des Prefab Sprouts song ‘When Love Breaks Down’ komplettierten das Album und dokumentierten die neue Ära der Band.

The classic Sixties group is reunited on ‘New World,’ an excellent album that provides a fine example of their song writing skills and melodic sophistication. Recorded in 1991, when Lead singer Colin Blunstone, bassist and composer Chris White with original drummer Hugh Grundy got back together to re-assert their musical authority in a competitive world. Keyboard wizard Rod Argent and guitarist Paul Atkinson are ‘special guests’ and the band is augmented by multi-instrumentalist Sebastian Santa-Maria. Among the highlights are several new songs, a fresh version of their classic hit ‘Time Of The Season’. As a precursor to a more permanent reunion - when they embarked on an extensive series of historic showcase concerts - this important CD marks the dawn of a new age of the Zombies.
