Seine Solosingle „Storybook Love” wurde als Soundtrack für den Film „The Princess Bride” für den Oscar nominiert. Willy DeVille is the founder, leader and principal songwriter of the band Mink DeVille who first broke worldwide with their smash hit “Spanish Stroll” in 1977. Since the mid-eighties Willy has been performing and recording under his own name and his solo single “Storybook Love” was nominated for an Oscar when it appeared in the film “The Princess Bride”. The new album finds him once again creating his unique mixture of rock, soul, R&B, blues and Cajun with articulate lyrics and Willy’s distinctive vocal style.
