Für die wörtliche Übersetzung „Etwas für etwas“ gibt es eine ebenso einfache wie bekannte Redewendung in unserer Alltagssprache: „Eine Hand wäscht die andere“. In der Pharmazie wiederum bezeichnet „Quid Pro Quo“ die Möglichkeit des Apothekers, manche Komponenten eines Heilmittels durch andere zu ersetzen. Für die Fans besteht aber kein Anlass zur Sorge: Dass die bewährte Hit-Rezeptur verändert wird, ist freilich bei den beiden Gitarristen/Sängern Francis Rossi und Rick Parfitt sowie ihren drei Mitstreitern nicht zu befürchten.
