ist jedoch ein Veteran der Szene, tritt schon seit den 70ern in seiner Heimat auf und ist ein Weggefährte von Toumani Diabaté, Bassekou Kouyate und Ali
Farka Touré. Animal Collective sind erklärte Fans seiner Musik.
