For seven years they took a break and now they released their seventh album and invited seven musicians to contribute.

For their "sieben / seven" album, the two Mannheim musicians dug into a rich trove of experience. After studying guitar with Sigi Schwab, Hans Reffert played his way to a reputation as a universal genius with bands like Zauberfinger, Cochise and Guru Guru. Multi-instrumentalisi and workshop creatorAdax Dörsam, for his part, already showed his mettle as a sideman for De-Phazz, Peh Werner and Xavier Naidoo.

Reffert and Dörsam describe their musical vision as "European ethno music," and that applies to "sieben / seven" as well. They show their total class with an imaginative mix of styles ranging from American roots music and European traditional, to Indian-meditative sounds, Hawaiian "sugar musiC' or modern grooving lounge tracks like "Funky Domra".
