Die kurzlebige Formation wird Stray Cats-Fans geläufig sein, waren hier doch das fulminante Rhythmus-Duo Slim Jim Phantom und Lee Rocker mit an Bord. Als Gitarristen heuerte man Earl Slick an, der zuvor bereits mit David Bowie, John Lennon oder auch John Waite gearbeitet hatte. Die Mischung aus 50er Rockabilly und 80er Jahre Hardrock hielt Nicky Hopkins (‘No Regrets‘) und Rolling Stones-Gitarrist Keith Richards (‘My Mistake‘) nicht davon ab, als Gaststars mitzuwirken. Die LA-Produktion wurde 1985 von den damals angesagten Produzenten Steve Thompson und Michael Barbiero (Metallica, Tesla, Guns’n’Roses) betreut. Rock Candy, der UK-Spezialist für wertige AOR und Rock-Re-Releases bringt das gesuchte Album nun als Limitierte Collector’s Edition, und erstmalig als CD-Version. Ein Essay hält viele gut recherchierte Hintergrundinfos zum Album bereit!

Recorded in Los Angeles by Steve Thompson and Michael Barbiero (Metallica, Tesla, Guns ‘N Roses) and released in 1985, the album features amongst its eleven self penned tracks, guest appearances from Rolling Stones keyboard alumni Nicky Hopkins and guitarist Keith Richards. That the music is highly addictive is no surprise but what is truly eye opening is the level of excitement and the quality of their song writing.
24-bit remastering from original source tapes, 3, 500 word essay about the making of the album, band involvement and previously unpublished photos spread out over a 16 page full colour booklet.
