Good Times Nr. 3/02: "Dreamland" ist kein Rock-Album, wie er sie früher machte, sondern entfaltet eine enorme Bandbreite. Fernöstliches darf natürlich nicht fehlen, auch ganz eigenwillige, zeitgenössische Blues-Interpretationen gibt es - in irgendwelche Korsette lässt sich Plant längst nicht mehr zwängen, sondern er macht, wozu er Lust hat. Das tut er inbrünstig mit seiner unverkennbaren Stimme und einer exzellenten Begleitband überzeugend."

Vielleicht sein bestes Soloalbum

Für mich ist es sein bestes Soloalbum. Ist in einer Reihe zusetzen mit: Bob Dylan- Self Portrait, John Lennon- Rock'n'Roll oder auch David Bowie- Pin Up. Hier singt Robert Plant seine persönlichen Lieblingslieder und zeigt noch einmal sein ganzes können. Die CD ist durchgehend hörbar und enthält kein schlechtes Stück. Mein Favorit ist: Darkness Darkness, denn was er hier mit seiner Stimme spielt ist einmalig und sucht seines gleichen.
