Morpheus aus dem Raum Warburg im östlichen Westfalen brachten 1976 ihre einzige LP "Rabenteuer" im Selbstverlag in einer Auflage von 500 Stück heraus, deren kunstvoll gestaltete Hülle besonders ins Auge fällt. Sie wurde 1998, aufgefüllt durch ein zwanzigminütiges Zusatzstück, auf vorliegendem Label als CD wiederveröffentlicht.
Nach 26 Jahren fanden sich nun die Musiker bis auf Schlagzeuger Alfred Franke wieder zusammen und nahmen "For a second" auf, wiederum im gleichen entspannten, aber nicht einschläfernden instrumentalen Jazzrock-Stil wie "Rabenteuer", etwa nach Art von Gong oder den frühen Kraan. Der mag vielleicht nicht jedermanns Fall sein, aber Könner sind die vier um Gitarrenlehrer Gerold Adler ganz gewiß.

In 1976, Morpheus from the area around Warburg in eastern Westphalia released their only LP "Rabenteuer" with a circulation of 500 copies without the help of a record company. Particularly remarkable is the cover artwork. In 1998, Garden of Delights published the LP again on CD, adding the 20-minute bonus track "Morpheus jam". After 26 years, the musicians came together again - except for drummer Alfred Franke, who lives too far away - to record "For a second". The music is still characterised by the same relaxed but vivid jazz-rock as in "Rabenteuer", a bit in the mood of Gong or early Kraan. This might not be to everyone’s taste, but the musicians around guitar teacher Gerold Adler are certainly masters of their craft.
