Mit ihrem Original-Line-Up - bestehend aus Jaz Coleman, Geordie, Youth und Big Paul - das sich im Jahr 2008 wieder zusammengefunden hat, konnte die Band zum Voodoo-Zauber der alten Tage zurückfinden.
"MMXII" reflektiert die düsteren Visionen des exzentrischen Sängers, aber gleichzeitig lässt die Band auch ausreichend Platz für positive Ausblicke: "All the remote viewers I know, myself included, cannot penetrate beyond. This year is about getting our collective dreams in order, restoring the biosphere, the idea of well-being as opposed to economic growth, the idea of partnership and co-creation with fellow human beings, moving away from national boundaries and more towards what Schiller and Beethoven were saying in some of their work."
"MMXII" ist ein fantastisches Album, das an den Sound der früheren Tage anknüpft, aber dennoch die aktuellen musikalischen Strömungen der Zeit reflektiert - ein wahrer Geniestreich.
