Das Album enthält erhabene akustische Gewebe und elektronische Dancebeats; es ist weniger Song-orientiert als »Unfinished Monkey Business«. Auf »Golden Greats« erklingen so verschiedene Instrumente wie Geigen, Mellotron oder Orgeln.
