»Uncle Meat« ist das sechste Album von Frank Zappas Band The Mothers of Invention unst ist urünglich erschienen im Jahr 1969. Das Album spiegelt Zappas musikalischen Entwicklung in Richtung Jazz und Kunstmusik, wie Zappa sie bezeichnete, wider. Zudem entstand »Uncle Meat« in der Intention als Soundtrack für einen Film mit selbigem Titel, der allerdings auch erst noch in der Entstehung war, aber unvollendet und folglich unveröffentlicht blieb. 1987 erschien jedoch wenigstens noch eine Dokumentation unter diesem Titel, die laut Internet Movie Database von einen unvollendeten Film handelt.
