The Flaming Sideburns have most of the original line-up intact since shortly after the beginning in 1995 including Jay Burnside (drums), Eduardo Martinez (vocals), Ski Williamson (guitars), The Punisher (bass) and newcomer Peevo (guitars). Recently they had a big 10 year anniversary party at Tavastia in Helsinki and are now ready for new adventures. The Back To The Grave compilation features six unreleased original songs recorded around and between Hallelujah Rock'n'Rollah and Sky Pilots, two vinyl-only b-sides from the Hallelujah Rock'n'Rollah sessions, two hard to get compilation tracks and a storming tribute to the late Kike Turmix on Bamalama featuring Michael Monroe (taken from a b-side for a Spanish 7"). The compilation also includes the first new song recorded since Sky Pilots in form of Black Moon (Spanish lyrics and all) that shows great promise for the upcoming album. So Back From The Grave is about cleaning out the good stuff from the closet and move on to make the first new album in 3 years. The new album will be recorded during the summer and is set for release in October 2006 by Ranch / Universal in Finland and Bad Afro elsewhere.
