Earth-Sick Mind is the debut fulllength from California doom rock unit Dusted Angel. Set for official release via Mankind Records November 9th, the album explodes with Dusted Angel's patented, crushing, doom-groove crossover, as previously heard on last year's self-titled 7" EP, released on Corruption Recordings and distributed by Relapse. Recorded in March 2010 by Billy Anderson (Melvins, Neurosis, Sleep), the basic tracking for Earth-Sick Different Fur and later mastered by Justin Wiess at Trakworx, both located in San Francisco. The end result is a straightforward, yet soulful, organic rock record, jammed full of memorable hooks and lyrics, and with no shortage of massive riffs.
