Die! Die! Die! is one of the best bands to emerge from New Zealand in over a decade. With an emphasis on pummelling, primal garage-punk rhythms shot through with shard-like guitar work, the trio creates a driving sound highly reminiscent of Warsaw, Therapy? and Wire that is utterly immediate, visceral and infectious. Formed in November 2003, the band started playing as many shows as they could in both New Zealand and Australia, including support slots for Wire and Franz Ferdinand, and tours throughout the US and UK. The band recorded their debut album with Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies, Shellac) at his studio in Chicago and later while in the U. S. found time to record 4 new tracks which became the ocust Weeks EP'. For the first time both recordings have come together for this special UK Edition release. Things began to move very quickly from there.
