The multi-talented artist from Cardiff, Wales has long held a torch for rock’n’roll and country music. Dave Edmunds came to fame as lead guitarist with Love Sculpture who hit the charts with ‘Sabre Dance’ in the late Sixties. He later built his own recording studio Rockfield and worked as a producer with Shakin’ Stevens and Nick Lowe and produced his own hits like ‘I Hear You Knocking’. With material ranging from Chuck Berry to Bob Dylan and a selection of bonus tracks, this is a highly entertaining set from Edmund’s own band Rockpile, first released back in 1971.
