“Dead Silence” wurde in den The Armoury Studios (Vancouver), Noble Street Studios (Toronto) und im Billy Talent Headquarters in Toronto aufgenommen. Produziert wurde das Album von Billy Talent Gitarrist Ian D`Sa , der sich über die letzten Jahre eine Reputation als Produzent von Bands wie Die Mannequin, One Second 2 Late und The Mahones aufbauen konnte. Zudem produzierte er auch schon „Billy Talent II“ in Zusammenarbeit mit Gavin Brown.
