As the successor to the Blu-ray Disc, the Ultra HD Blu-ray is an optical data storage device for movies in ultra-high definition format. The eponymous Ultra HD resolution is a maximum of 3840 × 2160 pixels. In contrast to its predecessor, it also supports a higher contrast range, a higher refresh rate and a larger color space. Normal Blu-ray players cannot play the new media. Ultra HD Blu-ray-capable devices are usually backward compatible.
Blu-Ray DiscThe Blu-Ray was developed as a high-definition successor to the DVD and offers a significantly increased data rate and storage capacity compared to its predecessor. Blu-Rays can therefore store movies with significantly better resolution and offer enormously high picture quality on corresponding screens. Blu-Ray players are usually backward compatible with DVDs, so that they can also be played.

Maniac Cop
Eine brutale Mordserie erschüttert die Bewohner von New York. Allem Anschein nach ist der skrupellose Killer ein Polizist, der immer wieder nachts, heimtückisch und mit ungewöhnlicher Brutalität vorgeht. Die ermittelnden Beamten stehen vor einem Rätsel, denn es fehlt jede Spur von dem Killer. Bald bricht die Panik aus in New York. Bei Nacht fühlt sich die Bevölkerung von der Polizei beobachtet und verfolgt. Der Hauptverdächtige ist der junge Polizist Jack Forrest, der durch unglückliche Zufälle in die Morde verwickelt wurde. Zusammen mit seiner Freundin versucht er verzweifelt, seine Unschuld zu beweisen.
Maniac Cop 2
Der angeblich verstorbene Cop Matt Cordell schlägt wieder zu. Noch immer will die New Yorker Polizei nicht glauben, dass der »Maniac Cop« noch am Leben ist. In den kriminellen Strassen vom Big Apple findet er einen gleichgesinnten Triebmörder, der ihm bei seinen Taten behilflich ist. Nur der unerschrockene Polizist McKinney wagt den Kampf gegen das Schizo-Duo und deren Machenschaften. Doch als der Triebmörder gefasst wird, greift der »Maniac Cop« die Polizeistation an und es kommt zu einem blutigen Massaker...
