Dele Sosimi ist ein im UK ansässiger Afrobeat-Botschafter, ex-Rhythmus-Keyboarder von Fela Kutis Egypt 80 und Mitbegründer von The Positive Force mit Femi Kuti. Auf der Suche nach später musikalischer Erneuerung erkundet er die gefühlvolle Seite von Jazz, R&B, Funk und natürlich Afrobeat. Seine »Confluence LP« ist ein Amalgam aus skurrilem Piano-Pop mit eingängig-jazzigen Refrains, galoppierenden Afro-Rhythmen und Sosimis tiefer Baritonstimme.
Zu seinen Gästen gehören u. a. Snowboy und Sam Duckworth (aka Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly), bekannt für seine Arbeiten mit Shy FX, Baala Maal, Lily Allen, Jehst und Kate Nash.
