Die US-amerikanische Sängerin Peggy Lee bewegte sich zumeist zwischen Jazz und Pop, doch “Is That All There Is?” hat eindeutige (der Zeit entsprechende) Rock-Einflüsse. Dennoch blieb sie sich treu und reihte musikalische Perle an Perle. Das Album aus dem Jahr 1969 war ihr größter Erfolg, zudem brachte der gleichnamige Titelsong Lee einen Grammy für die beste zeitgenössische Gesangsdarbietung ein. Die Aufnahme fand in den berühmten “Capitol Tower Studios” in Hollywood statt.
