Two Giants

Auf dieser Scheibe sind zwei wirkliche Giganten der Jazzszene zusammen getroffen. Herrlich, das Soul-Sax von Cannonball und das Vibraphon von Bags. Es erstaunt und fasziniert mich immer wieder, wie zwei doch eher unterschiedliche Jazzer so kongenial zueinander finden können. Die Stücke sind extrem beschwingt und durch Bags sehr "luftig". Die Instrumente stehen toll im Raum und die Pressung ist gut. Herrlicher Jazz zumentspannen und gooven. Für mich eine Platte, die regelmäßig auf meinem Plattenteller landet. Ein echtes Highlight und sehr zu empfehlen.
