The original album included classics like »Solitude« and »Caravan« and introduced several important new Ellington pieces like »Fleurette Africaine (African Flower)« and »Wig Wise.« Ellington is inspired by his younger all-stars and turns in an exciting, modern performance.
The CD adds four new tunes and four alternate takes (two of which have never been issued before) to the original album. Newly remixed and mastered in 24 bit, this essential classic sounds better than ever.
