Der Grund für den Albumtitel und die außergewöhnlich umfängliche Veröffentlichung liegt auf der Hand: am 15. März 2018 feierte Lloyd 80. Geburtstag in seiner Heimatstadt Santa Barbara, auf der Bühne des Lobero Theatre, mit einer Gruppe von engen Musikfreunden, darunter Gitarrist Julian Lage, Pianist Gerald Clayton, Bassist Reuben Rogers und Schlagzeuger Eric Harland. Als Gäste stießen Organist Booker T. Jones und Blue-Note-Präsident Don Was am Bass hinzu.
