Auf seinem zweiten Blue-Note-Album "Love Bug" spielte der Organist Reuben Wilson in einem außergewöhnlichen Quintett mit Lee Morgan an der Trompete, George Coleman am Tenorsaxophon, Grant Green an der Gitarre und Leo Morris (alias Idris Muhammad) am Schlagzeug.
Das Soul-Jazz-Datum von 1969 präsentierte funkige Wilson-Originale wie "Hot Rod", "Back Out" und das Titelstück neben R&B-Hits der Zeit wie "I'm Gonna Make You Love Me", "I Say A Little Prayer" und "Hold On, I'm Comin'".
Diese Blue Note Classic Vinyl Edition ist komplett analog, wurde von Kevin Gray von den Original-Masterbändern gemastert und auf 180g Vinyl bei Optimal gepresst.
