The SACD uses a higher digital resolution than the audio CD and also offers the possibility to store multi-channel sound (surround sound). To enjoy the music in high-end quality, a special SACD player is required. Thanks to the hybrid function, most of the products marked "SACD" in our store can also be played on conventional CD players. In this case, however, the sound does not differ from that of a normal CD. In case of deviations, we point this out separately (non-hybrid).

Marcus Bosch und die Staatsphilharmonie Nürnberg setzen ihren hochgelobten Dvorák-Zyklus mit zwei auf der Konzertbühne zu Unrecht unterrepräsentierten Werken fort.
Stärker als in den früheren Sinfonien stellt der Komponist in der durch ihre lyrische Grundstimmung bestechenden Fünften den böhmischen Tonfall heraus, der dem 1875 entstandenen Werk einen ganz eigenständigen Charakter gibt.
1896 entstand als letzte einer Reihe von vier sinfonischen Dichtungen ›Die Waldtaube‹: Die dramatische Geschichte einer Mörderin vertont Dvorák mit virtuoser Instrumentationskunst ‒ das große Orchester kann alle Klang-Register ziehen.
