Duncan Honeybourne ist vor allem als Pianist bekannt, und seine zahlreichen Aufnahmen spiegeln seine lange Verbundenheit mit der britischen Klaviermusik des 20. und 21. Jahrhunderts wider. Jahrhunderts wider. Aber er war auch 30 Jahre lang Kirchenorganist und hat Konzerte in den Kathedralen von Brecon und Truro sowie in der Kathedrale von Ieper (Ypern) in Belgien gegeben. Mit dreizehn Jahren hatte Honeybourne seine erste Anstellung als Dorforganist in Dorset. Auf dieser Veröffentlichung spielt er die Bevington-Kammerorgel in der Pfarrkirche von Bincombe, Dorset. Ein Teil der Kirche stammt aus dem zwölften Jahrhundert, der Rest der Kirche wurde im fünfzehnten Jahrhundert erbaut. Die einmanualige Orgel wurde 1873 von der Londoner Firma Bevington and Sons gebaut und zum Preis von 105 GBP an die Nachbargemeinde Broadwey geliefert. Sie wurde 1903 nach Bincombe verlegt.
