Viktoria und ihr Husar ist eine rare Perle der glamourösen Revue-Operette, die nicht sehr oft gezeigt wird. Selbst in Mörbisch war dieses Stück erst zwei Mal zu sehen: 1960 und zuletzt 1973, also vor über 40 Jahren, u. a. mit Johannes Heesters. Das tut der Bekanntheit der Melodien aber keinen Abbruch »Meine Mama war aus Yokohama«, »Mausi, süß warst du heute Nacht«, »Reich mir zum Abschied noch einmal die Hände« und »Pardon, Madame« sind nur einige der Evergreens, die zum Mitsingen einladen.
