Das Ensemble Cosmos wurde 2015 mit der Unterstützung von Lionel Meunier (Vox Luminis) in der Abtei Royaumont gegründet und ist Preisträger der gleichnamigen Stiftung. Das Vokal- und Instrumentalensemble mit variabler Besetzung arbeitet kollegial und demokratisch ohne Leitung. Es konzentriert sich auf das mehrstimmige Vokalrepertoire des 17. und 18. Jahrhunderts, insbesondere aus England. Das Programm ihrer ersten CD mit Verse Anthems (abwechselnder Solo- und Chorgesang) von Matthew Locke und John Blow haben die Musiker über mehrere Jahre erarbeitet und in Konzerten erprobt.
