Moór war Komponist, Pianist und Organist. Pablo Casals entdeckte ihn und regte Moór an, für ihn und den berühmten Cellisten Anatoly Brandukov zu schreiben. Und tatsächlich entwickelte Moór eine ganz besondere Vorliebe für das Cello, er hatte ein gutes Gespür für das Instrument und seine Möglichkeiten – und er war extrem produktiv. Auf dieser CD sind drei Kompositionen zu hören, die Pablo Casals gewidmet sind.
