Magnificat on 1 Blu-ray Audio and 1 Super Audio CD
Magnificat
The Blu-ray Audio Disc (also Pure Audio Blu-ray) is technically a normal Blu-ray Disc and can be played on any Blu-ray player. However, it does not contain any video content. The high storage capacity is used for high-resolution audio data (stereo and surround, up to 24 bit/192 kHz). It is operated either without a screen like a conventional CD or via the onscreen menu like a normal Blu-ray disc.
SACD (Super Audio CD)The SACD uses a higher digital resolution than the audio CD and also offers the possibility to store multi-channel sound (surround sound). To enjoy the music in high-end quality, a special SACD player is required. Thanks to the hybrid function, most of the products marked "SACD" in our store can also be played on conventional CD players. In this case, however, the sound does not differ from that of a normal CD. In case of deviations, we point this out separately (non-hybrid).

Das ist der Hintergrund, vor dem der Komponist Kim André Arnesen die Emotionen der Jungfrau Maria beschreibt: Erstaunen, Hingabe, Dankbarkeit, Freude, Demut, Hoffnung und Mitgefühl. Gott hat eine unbekannte, in Armut lebende Frau als Mutter für seinen Sohn auserwählt; mit seinem „Magnificat“ hat Arnesen ein Werk geschrieben, das allen Menschen in seelischer und körperlicher Not Hoffnung und Trost spenden soll. Die Auro-3D-Technik auf dieser Blu-ray Audio liefert ein dreidimensionales Raumempfinden, das realistischer klingt, als alles bisher Dagewesene.
