Ja, The Queen’s Six hat tatsächlich seinen Sitz in der St. George’s Chapel von Windsor Castle, wobei sich der Name auf Elizabeth I. bezieht, die im Gründungsjahr 2008 ihren 450. Geburtstag hatte. In der St. George’s Chapel singen sie zusammen mit den Knabenstimmen und sechs weiteren Männerstimmen bei den Gottesdiensten sowie bei privaten und offiziellen Anlässen (z. B. 2018 bei der Hochzeit von Prince Harry und Meghan Markle). Auf SIGNUM CLASSICS präsentieren sie sich nun einem breiteren Publikum und haben hierfür englische Volkslieder ausgewählt, die sie in subtilen neuen und alten Arrangements vortragen. Ein wahrhaft königlicher Musikgenuss!
