Weltpremiere ansprechend inszeniert und sängerisch brillant
Francesco Cileas "L'Arlesiana" ist nicht weniger als eines der größten Meisterwerke des italienischen Verismo. Und bedenkt man, wie beliebt beim Opernpublikum dieser Stil ist, dann kann man es kaum glauben, dass diese großartige Oper nun erstmals auf DVD/Blu-ray eingespielt wurde.
Die Inszenierung aus dem Tetro G. B. Pergolesi im mittelitalienischen Jesi wartet mit einer erstaunlich brillanten Gesangsbesetzung auf, in der es keine Ausfälle gibt, stattdessen viele positive Überraschungen. Die Kostüme entsprechen der Zeit der Komposition, also der Zeit um 1910.
Alles in allem ergibt sich ein äußerst stimmiges Gesamtbild. Diese Oper ist eine bedeutende Wiederentdeckung! Und der gute Gesamteindruck wird gekrönt durch den Einbezug einer bislang unveröffentlichten Arie, einer "Weltpremiere in der Weltpremiere" sozusagen.
Wenn dies ein Film wäre, würde man sagen: Ganz großes Kino! Und auch dieser Dynamic-Release erscheint in drei Formaten: Als CD, als DVD und als Blu-ray Disc in HD.
