Gerade die Aufnahme des Mendelssohn-Konzerts zeigt, wie sehr es Jensen verstand, ein Orchester zur Höchstform zu führen. Die Aufnahmen von Händel und Mozart stammen aus seinem letzten Konzert am 31.10.1963, 14 Tage vor seinem Tod, und zeigen ihn (und Annie Fischer) noch einmal in Höchstform.
