Die neueste Veröffentlichung von EM Records, Crepuscule, ist die Debüt-CD des jungen, dynamischen und preisgekrönten Aurora Trios.
Dieses Fest der aufregenden und charaktervollen englischen Musik für Flöte, Bratsche und Harfe enthält fünf Weltersteinspielungen, neben etablierten Meisterwerken wie Arnold Bax' Elegischem Trio und William Alwyns Naiades.

Das Aurora Trio besteht aus der Flötistin Emma Halnan, dem Bratschisten Jordan Sian und der Harfenistin Heather Wrighton. Seit der Gründung des Trios im Jahr 2012 sind sie in ganz Großbritannien gemeinsam aufgetreten; zu den jüngsten Engagements gehören Auftritte beim Deal Festival, Dean and Chadlington Summer Music Festival und Hampton Court Palace. Von 2014-16 hatte das Trio ein prestigeträchtiges Kammermusik-Stipendium an der Royal Academy of Music inne.

"Crepuscule" wurde 2020 in St. John the Evangelist in Oxford aufgenommen, mit dem Produzenten Tom Hammond und dem Ingenieur John Croft.
