Das am ersten Juni veröffentlichte Album »Leonard Bernstein – A Quiet Place« beinhaltet nicht nur eine einzigartige Besetzung durch das Orchestre symphonique de Montréal unter der Leitung von Kent Nagano, sondern ist zudem auch eine Ersteinspielung und zugleich Weltpremiere der von Garth Edwin Sunderland adaptierten Version für Kammerensemble. Das Zusammentreffen von Bernsteins Komposition und Kent Nagano stellt eine zusätzliche Emotionalität dar, da Nagano Bernstein bereits 1984 traf und bis zu dessen Tod mit ihm studierte. Die Aufnahme zeichnet also zum einen eine neue Interpretation und Annäherung an die einstige Oper Bernsteins auf und zum anderen ist sie Zeugnis der Begegnung zweier außergewöhnlicher Künstlerpersönlichkeiten.
