Das 24 bit XRCD Re-Issue der Argo ZRG 554 von 1968. Die Aufnahme vom Mai 1967 wurde von Neville Marriner (damals noch ohne Sir) geleitet. Es spielt die Academy of St. Martin in the Fields. Die Streicherdarstellung gehört zum besten, das jemals aufgenommen wurde.
Ein wichtiger Hinweis noch. Mozart erlaubte sich einen kleinen Scherz und schrieb die Werke für zwei Streichersektionen. Wenn also die Abbildung der Musik von links nach rechts springt, dann ist das so gewollt.
