bartok-boulez recycling

sony feiert boulez' 80ten geburtstag auch mit einer bartok-kassette, die leider eine seiner wichtigsten frühen einspielungen für cbs-columbia, nämlich bartoks 'konzert für orchester' nicht enthält - was unverständlich und unvollständig ist, zumal scriabin mit dem extase-poem und bartoks frühe 'dorfszenen' als scheinbar relevanter eingefügt wurden.
allein deshalb kann diese bartok-boulez kompilation nicht uneingeschrankt empfohlen werden.
die aufnahmen lassen auch klangtechnisch ihre jahre (1960-70) nicht überhören , bei diversen aufnahmeorten in n.y., london.
interpretatorisch gibt es vergleichsweise wenig zu bemängeln, allenfalls ein boulez-typischer durchgehend nüchterner zugriff, der dem 'folkloriker' bartok wenig beachtung schenkt, seine zukunfts-
weisende modernität jedoch nicht unterschlägt und seine harmonischen kühnheiten voll ausspielt.
die 'musik für saiteninstrumente ...' wäre klangtechnisch weniger diffus eine modellaufnahme und 'herzog blaubarts burg' bleibt eine erste wahl, weil, auch besser aufgezeichnet, das psycho-drama der (akzeptabel idiomatischen) singstimmen von nimsgern und troyanos mit (den inneren stimmen) dem orchester plausibel auf einer klangbühne dargestellt wird.
also, eine hörenswerte cd-4er-box, aber ein 'mixed-bag'.
