Darunter auch diese Oper, die so gründlich in Vergessenheit geriet, dass bis in unsere Zeit niemand mehr davon wusste. Vor einigen Jahren erst fand sich das Manuskript in Lissabon. Es ist eigentlich eine simple Geschichte: Ein chinesischer Prinz hasst die Frauen, und eine Italienerin hasst die Männer. Sie kommt an den sagenumwobenen chinesischen Hof und wird dort diesem Prinz vorgestellt. Dreimal darf man raten, was daraufhin passiert...
