Biografie (Mahi Binebine)
Mahi Binebine, geboren 1959 in Marrakesch, studierte Mathematik in Paris und unterrichtete dort acht Jahre lang. Gleichzeitig begann seine intensive Auseinandersetzung mit Malerei und Literatur. Seine Bilder werden heute in der ganzen Welt ausgestellt und gesammelt. Und seine Bücher sind in mehrere Sprachen übersetzt. Mit Tahar Ben Jelloun und Abdellatif Laabi zählt er mittlerweile zu den bekanntesten Autoren Marokkos. Seit 1994 lebt, malt und schreibt er in New York und Paris.Biografie (Ben Faccini)
Ben Faccini, geb. 1968, ist in Italien, Frankreich und England aufgewachsen. Nach dem Studium lebte er acht Jahre in Paris; dort arbeitete er für die UNESCO und UNICEF mit Straßenkindern und Jugendlichen aus Problemvierteln. Vor kurzem ist er nach London zurückgekehrt, um seine Dissertation über Kultur und Identität im Mittelmeerraum fertigzustellen.
