Biografie
Celia Rees wurde 1949 in Solihull, England, geboren. Sie studierte sie Politik und Geschichte, wobei ihr besonderes Interesse der amerikanischen Geschichte galt. Nach dem Studium unterrichtete sie zehn Jahre lang Englisch, bis sie schließlich durch einen Lehrgang an der Universität von Birmingham zum Schreiben kam. 1993 veröffentlichte sie ihren ersten Roman und seit 1997 arbeitet sie als freie Schriftstellerin. Celia Rees lebt mit ihrem Ehemann in Leamington Spa und hat eine Tochter.
