Biography (Bernadette Wegenstein)
Bernadette Wegenstein, geboren 1969, ist Medientheoretikerin und Filmemacherin. Sie promovierte 1998 in den Fächern Romanistik und Linguistik an der Universität Wien. Sie lehrt und forscht in den Vereinigten Staaten und ist seit 2008 Associate Research Professor an der Johns Hopkins University, wo sie Film- und Medientheorie unterrichtet. Bernadette Wegenstein lebt in Baltimore gemeinsam mit ihrem Mann und ihren drei Kindern.
