Biography (Christer Petersen)

Christer Petersen, 1971 in Kiel geboren, hat nach dem Magisterstudium der Neueren Deutschen Literaturwissenschaft, der Philosophie und der Psychologie in Kiel und London von 1999 bis 2002 an der Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel Literatur- und Medienwissenschaft gelehrt. Seit seiner Promotion im Fach Neuere Deutsche Literatur- und Medienwissenschaft im Jahre 2002 ist er als Assistant Professor am Department of German and Slavic Studies der University of Manitoba (Winnipeg, Kanada) tätig.§Die Schwerpunkte seiner bisherigen Forschungen und Publikationen bilden die Literatur der Moderne und Postmoderne, die Spielfilmwerke Peter Greenaways und Stanley Kubricks sowie die Vermittlung des Krieges in den verschiedenen künstlerischen und massenkulturellen Medien.
